Mariah Carey inspired by hubby, launches new perfume

Famous singer, Mariah Carey has new perfume and according to her it was inspired by her husband, Actor/Media Mogul Nick Cannon.

The singer says Nick’s proposal gave her ideas to create Lollipop Bling, her new sweet fragrance.

The star said, “The inspiration for Lollipop Bling was Nick’s marriage proposal to me. “He first surprised me with a ring-pop — romantic, fun and young-at-heart — like me!”

Mariah is releasing Lollipop Bling through Elizabeth Arden in conjunction with Topps Candy Company next month.

The singer was recently described by Nick as the “diva of all divas”.

“Imagine if you’ve got the diva of all divas. If we’ve got to be somewhere at five or six o’clock, I tell her it’s time to go at noon so she gets those five hours to do what she needs to do,” he said.

“But we’re both kids at heart. She is the funniest person ever and she has a great sense of humor. We connect at a spiritual level.”

The fragrance  joins Mariah Carey’s existing fragrances ‘M By Mariah Carey’, ‘Forever Mariah Carey’, and ‘Mariah Carey’s Luscious Pink’.

Moreover, Nick Cannon poses for the next issue of Jet magazine. Despite his marriage to high profile pop singer Mariah, Nick does not want his success associated exclusively with her wife correcting critics that he is not an insecure guy.

Nick was quoted to have issued this statement to Jet magazine:

“Nick Cannon laughs when people call him “Mr. Mariah Carey,” even though he’s been married to his wife, Mariah, for two years now. The self-professed “entrepretainer” – an entrepreneur first and entertainer second – is certainly accomplished in his own right. He became a millionaire at 15 and is the CEO of his own multi-media company, NCredible Entertainment and chairman of the Teen Nick television network. “That type of stuff is humorous to me,” he tells Jet. “If I were an insecure individual or if that was true, that type of statement – that I’m a ‘boy toy’ or ‘yes man’ and all that type of stuff – would bother me. But anybody who knows me or talks to me for five minutes knows clearly that’s not the picture.”
